About
Wahha Design & Photography was created in 2008. Although, the business started recently does not mean its not experienced. The company is owned and runned by Blake Baxendell who has over seven years of experience. He is a graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Communications and Emerging Technology. His studies included areas in photography, film, web design, marketing, and graphic design.
Besides doing work as owner for Wahha Design, he also works full-time for SeaGate Management company, which is the web developer for over 23 companies. This experience has increased his web development and design ability, but has also given him the opportunity for many more commercial photography clients.
Before going to college, Blake enrolled into the military. It was this opportunity that gave him the unique chance to travel to different part of the world and do landscape photography. Landscape photography is his true passion and loves to see the beauty that nature has produced for us all to enjoy.
After moving to Wilmington, NC, Blake tried to pursue himself into the film area here in the area. Unfortunately, it was during the time of the writer’s strike. During that time, a local magazine company was looking for a staff photographer and gave Blake the chance to shoot several different local talent for fashion photography.
In the past two years, Blake developed Wahha Design & Photography. Since then, he has had the chance to do several weddings, portraits, and commercial pieces. Not to mention the chance to meet great and amazing people. The biggest joy in photography is not just the beautiful images you capture, but the amazing people you get to meet and befriend.
